EVERY GREAT FCA HUDDLE HAS A PLAN!
Lot's to unpack here! All of our high school and lower Campus Huddles are student lead in that they have decided to have a huddle, plan when they meet, who comes to speak and if they are going to provide food. Campus Advisors are there to mearley help with school policies and any necessities students may need that they don't have access to.
College Level and above are run by the adult athletes and an FCA Staff member.

Spiritual emphasis
Are you promoting your club?
Signs/flyers around campus (when and where)
Social Media exposure (develop a following with friends and sports programs)
Announcements from the school as lunch begins (office announcements)
Invite a program to attend after practice.
Nominating 2 FCA Athletes of the Month (boy and girl and post on social media or other)
Extracurricular activities (Worship Night, Dodgeball in the gym, kicking a field goal for a pizza at a halftime of a home football game, etc)
Serving others (help run a snack bar, hand out water bottles with a verse on them, coaches breakfast, etc)
Community events to volunteer

Where is the best place to meet?
- Classroom
- Gym
- Theater
- Outside
This is a strategic question. Where you choose to hold your huddle has the potential to make or break. Close in proximity to the center of the campus and or near the lunch line can pay great dividends to the success of reaching maximum number of coaches and athletes. Come at it as a Rally atmosphere will also create a buzz in attendance. Have some music playing will spark an interest!

Typical Huddle Script:
(2 Groups)
-Leaders at the door welcoming attendees (smiley faces shaking hands).
-Other leaders getting ready to start Huddle.
1. Welcome Everybody (Bring the Energy)
2. Introduce themselves (Hi, I'm _____ and I play ______)
3. Competition update (What's the athletic schedule this week?)
4. Injury Report (Anybody we can pray over?)
5. A prayer for athletes & coaches, the injured and speaker.
6. Intro speaker (Get the bio one week before they arrive).
7. Quick Reflection on what the speaker spoke about.
8. Thank the speaker and the church who brought the food.
9. Preview next Huddle. (When are we meeting next?)
10. Close in prayer.
Icebreaker or no?
That is up to you based on the time you have! Icebreakers are a fun way to get interaction between members.
